I've always liked Agamas. It's cool that you live in a part of the world where they run wild.
I had a Puerto Rican friend who told me when she was growing up, iguanas would knock over their garbage cans to get food scraps. They'd stand their ground and hiss at you if you tried to chase them away.
Yep, it's fun to have lizards run around my town. My mother, a bit to the north, also has no less than ten wild house geckos living in the nooks and crannies of her house; these cute little lizards come out at night to hunt for moths, flies and mosquitos.They're quite well-fed, if to judge from their FAT tails...
